CLIMBING!! Date: April. 17, 2007, 7pm Where: UC Davis ARC, Climbing Wall Always wanted to try rock climing? Well here's
your chance! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Where: the New Benicia Bridge (Benicia and Martinez) What happened: 10 members plus practitioner adviser Matt Socha went with the EERI UC Davis student chapter (Earthquake Engineering Research Institute) to tour the new Benicia Bridge. Before going out to the bridge, Carlos, the graduate Student Researcher in Structural Engineering, and an engineer from Caltrans gave us a brief introduction about the bridge . Then everyone drove out to and parked on the new constructed bridge. A tour was then given on the basic construction of the bridge from section 10 to section 7. Come join our ASCE Chapter on a camping trip to Woodson Bridge SRA.
It's a good way to bond and make friends. Don't worry if it is
your first time, just come out and have fun. 
We are hosting a paintball event. The CSU
Sacramento Chapter has been invited to join us. Everyone
is invited -- first time players and experienced players. Don't worry
about equipment, it will be provided. If you have your own, you can
bring it.
